Joe,
Welcome to the work of oily people and pencil wielding speed calculating
maniacs!
We'll be there at the Regis (Blue Mini - see www.team-roach.com) You can have a
read of last year's event report, which should give you a bit of a view of what
to expect. From memory the tests are very very good indeed, Tangmere airfieled
has some belters, though no guarantees we'll be there this year, and finals not
received yet.
Do come and say hello, and let us know how you're doing. IF there's anything
that's unclear just ask......I might not understand myself!! But worth asking
anyhow!
In case anyone is wondering why my site hasn't been updated, I've had the most
god awful year at work, and my PC has been trashed by 3 differing virus. I'm now
in the process of putting together one machine for internet access, and one for
the other things I do (Photoshop) websites that sort of stuff. That way my web
machine can get trashed over and over without any worry of a major loss of
important stuff......fingers crossed eh!
Eric

Hello,
I've just signed up on this group and I thought I'd introduce
myself. My navigator and I are very much novices, but I guess that's
where everyone starts. I'm North London based and have a rally
prepared Sunbeam Stiletto - this has only just returned to the
historic rallying scene after a break of a few years whilst the
engine was rebuilt (998cc BVH R20 cam) and the rear suspension
sorted out, but she's now running like a dream! We were out in her
a few weekends ago at the Donor Card GT from Brooklands, and had a
great run. I've also got a Series vi Alpine with the Holbay engine
in, this is a good workhorse of a car and quite tatty, but fantastic
when the sun comes out. The last car in my stable is a beautiful
bright purple Lotus Europa, I did the Bluebell run in it earlier in
the year due to the Stiletto being poorly and loaning the Alpine to
another driver. Having only 3 inches ground clearance it wasn't
exactly ideal...
I've put a couple of photos under photos/other photos/joe's cars
Hopefully be at the Regis Rally next month so might see some people
there?
Cheers
Joe Robson
