Well, I mostly have always used it as a warm up before any jumping
workout, But Mainly me and my coach use the scissors drill to emphasize
the High Knee Drive and for also learning to jump up in the air.
I respectfully have to disagree with your points unless a jumper is spending half their workout doing scissors jumps. I'm talking about doing maybe 5 or so...
