Hi Coach
I built my own as follows
1x 4' x 2' of 1" plywood
1x 3' length of 4"x 4" timber
1x 3' 6" lengths of 6" x 1 timber
Chamfer one side of the 4x4 by just under half an inch to give the ramp
effect
countersink a dozen 3" scews through the ply into the 4x4 on teh chamfered
side
screw lengths of 6x1 under the pkly as stiffeners - chamfer the lower ends
as necessary so that they do not touch the ground
If you have some - plasterboard screw a 4' x 2' piece of synthetic with
screws at 4" centres around edge of the ramp - Put a little adhesive under
the centre of the synthetic to hold it down.
You might also consider making some boxes at 4" or 6" height
6" box - Use ply for the top and 1" thick timber for the sides . Glue 2x2 or
3x3 reinforcing at the corners plus a piece of 4x2 across the middle as a
stiffener - fasten rope on 2 sides for carrying
4" box - use 3x2 timber for sides and centre reinforcing, 2x2 for corner
reinforcemts plus 1 " ply for the top
Hope that helps
