Here is a selection of Plyos. I would focus on the last 2 exercises now the season has started
Hops and Bounds in a line - say 4 + a jump
Jump down from and back up onto a box - between 12"-24" 2 footed
Tuck jumps over hurdles 3' or higher if technique is OK
Straight leg jumps over lower hurdles 12-15"
NB// all contacts to be as reactive as possible - minimum knee or hip bend
say 2 times a week maximum
At your age I would forget lifting during the season
short sprints and 1 full approach and 1 short approach session in a week
PLUS plenty of rest!!

clearance of 6'0, I'm a junior in high school and my coaching
situation is nonexistant. I've never had any coaching in the high
jump, only what i've read from you guys online, videos i've watched,
and dyestat. What I'm asking is, what are some drills I need to be
doing, what lifts should I do, and what plyometrics do you recommend
for high jumpers? I know I can go a lot higher, and i'm eyeing the
class record of 6'4".
Input? Thanks in advance!
