Hey Everyone,
I just thought I would let you all know what is going on with me
lately! (it is pretty crazy). As many of you know, I have been
jumping unattached for the last three years after I was let go from
Washington State University's T&F program. Well, this last week they
called and invited me back to kick some Huskey butt (University of
Washington). Their hope was that in helping them to score points
against the dawgs, I would qualify for Pac-10 conference. Well, I
did that AND jumped a nice 1.73m to qualify for NCAA West Regionals.
It was pretty exciting. While one part of me wanted to tell them to
shove off or go jump in a lake, the competitive side of me knew I
badly wanted to compete in a big meet like the Pac-10's. SO, I made
it and some. The jumps are doing great, and in a week I will be a
commissioned officer in the Army Nurse Corps, as well as a college
graduate. : ) Life is good in old Washington State.
