They did a very extensive review of literature of over 145 studies and
other references on the subject of youth and resistance training. If
there is a more definitive statement made by individuals of higher
qualifications I'd love to hear about it. Please contact the NSCA. I'm
sure there are methods to gain access to the full position statement.
I know that old theories/philosophies die hard sometimes but sometimes
you just have to break past paradigms and go with the demonstrated
science.
