6-2 6-2. It one of the Best winnings of Hicham Arazi in Doubles. Only
one team did better Yesterday (8)Wayne Black/Kevin Ullyett (ZIM) d.
Ruben Ramirez-Hidalgo/David Sanchez (ESP) 6-0 6-2.
So Hicham equalised his Best ever results in Double in a Grand Slam.
He reached the second tour 2 times last year teamed with Younes EL
Aynaoui at the Australian Open and Wimbledon. Hicham was also
planning to play in doubles with Younes this year but the illness of
Younes obligated him to choose another partner. It always better to
take one who speaks the same language as you do. The team of Hicham
Arazi/ Nicolas Mahut seems to work from the first Match. They didn't
play as team before. The only match they played was in singles last
year in Lyon (FRA) where Hicham won in straight set 6/2 6/4.
Hicham seems to like the Court 19. He won his 2 matches in Court 19.
They will meet in the second round the winner of the match to be
played today:

Hicham will meet another Frenchman Cyril Saulnier in there Second
Round Singles Match in the Night of Wednesday to Thursday. Hicham
defeated a Frenchman in his first round and is teamed with another
Frenchman.
Cyril Saulnier is a dangerous player. He caused a big surprise by
eliminating the Number 5 seed (5)Guillermo Coria (ARG) in straight
sets 7-6(7) 6-2 6-4 preventing the coaches of Morocco and Argentina
from a Match that can be used for the selection of the players to
play in Davis Cup. Especially for Argentina to know which player can
be used in singles against Arazi, Coria, Nalbandian or Calleri.
Saulnier did also play big matches against Roddick and Hinman and
lost in close matches to them.

Arazi is set to play in a show court this time. He will play in Shaw
Court Number 2:

Time). The Match is on a Show Court this means that the Television
could show it. We hope that one of the Moroccan Channel can show it
or they could show it on Eurosport TV if there will be no other big
match at that moment.
