Germany has been given the Wild Card for the World Team Cup in
Düsseldorf .
Germany who do have the same World Countries Ranking as Morocco at
Number 9 in the World (if it participate with Rainer Schüttler and
Nicolas Kiefer), could not enter the Tournament directly. Plus that
they do like to participate with Schüttler and Tommy Haas who is just
making his come back after more than a year and was not Ranked at the
End of the year 2003.
This mean that they took the place of Czech Republic who is ranked
number 8 in the World. Czech Rep. is the First Reserve Team right
now. If one of the 8 teams can't participate. Morocco is the Second
Reserve Team if more that one Team couldn't participate.
The chances of Morocco to participate are still alive, cause only
USA, Spain and Argentina have more reserve players who do have better
Ranking than our players. The same thing for Germany with the Wild
Card, where the Rankings are not applied and can use any player. The
rest of the teams will lose there place if one of the two national
top ranked couldn't participate.

Entry list of January 08th, 2004
A letter to the Organisers of the Tournament to correct the Name of
Morocco instead of "Marokko" (which is the name of Morocco in
Germans ). and Brazil instead of "Brasil" (which is the name of
Brazil in home language "Portuguese"). The rest of the country names
are written in English.
In the Participants 2004
You wrote Marokko the name is in Germans but the Site is in English
and all other Countries are written in English.
The English name of Marokko is Morocco. Thanks and Hope you'll
correct it and hope to see Morocco play this year the tournament or
next year. We hoped for the Wild Card this year but Germany is also
not entered directly and was given the Wild Card. It will be
fantastic if Morocco still could play this year. Thanks again and
hope to see it corrected and think about Morocco if one day Germany
not need it self a Wild Card, Younes EL Aynaoui and Hichan Arazi love
to play in Germany and People and fan's like to see them playing in
Germany plus that a lot of Moroccan people do live in Düsseldorf.
Thanks,
Ali Yahia.
