Hicham Arazi takes his revenge over Thomas Enqvist in Doha beating
him in 3 sets.

Good news for Hicham Arazi to open the season with a revenge of the
End of the season. Hicham Arazi and Younes EL Aynaoui are playing in
Doha Qatar, in Single and in Double together. The results are Live on

Hicham didn't wait a lot to avenge his lose to Enqvist in the End of
the season in Stockholm 2003. We can say that the place and the crowd
play a big role in the results of players. When Enqvist play Hicham
home and in front of his crowd, he won and now Hicham played him in
an Arabic ground he won and took his revenge.
Hicham won the Match 7-6 2-6 and 6-3 to play in the second round the
winner of the match: (8)Agustin Calleri (ARG) vs Filippo Volandri
(ITA).
A match who do have a lot to do with Arazi and Moroccan Davis Cup.
Arazi beat Volandri in the last year second Round of Davis Cup Euro-
African Zone I against Italy in Marrakech to give Morocco the winning
Point in the last match of the Tie, while Calleri could play Arazi
in the Tie between Morocco and Argentina in the First Round of World
Group Davis Cup in Agadir on the same ground as the ground used in
Doha. Hicham won the only meeting between then in the US Open 2001 in
5 sets.
Calleri is number 24 and Argentinean number 3 behind Coria(5) and
Nalbandian(8) but could play depends of his results especially if
he'll make good results against Hicham Arazi.
Hicham do have a lot of experience and knows how to take the
situation in his favor .
Hicham will play later today in centre court in double with Younes EL
Aynaoui vs. (W)Andy Roddick(USA)/ Stefan Koubek(AUT).
The American World number One and the Koubek the winner of 2003 have
been given a Wild Card in double while El Aynaoui/Arazi did enter
direct in the draw.
Younes El Aynaoui will also play in single tomorrow against the
Frenchman (WC)Nicolas Escude who has been given a Wild Card and
didn't play since Wimbledon cause of injury. Escude is leading 3/1
against Younes but Younes won in there last meeting.
