I laughed at one expert's prediction that we would be last in our division, but
I guess he is laughing now. Since we got dominated by the worst team in the
conference that pretty much gauges our progress since last year's disappointing
team.
Our defense is decent, but NO offense whatsoever. Did we set a record for false
starts tonight? I can't believe we are the team that snapped the longest losing
streak in the country. We might also set a record for turnovers lost.
The only thing worse than the offense was Hawkins and the special teams. After
the first time he took one out of the endzone and didn't make the 10 yard line,
he does it again and get stuck on the 5 and they moved that back to the 2 after
not one, but two blocks in the back on the same play. To top it off, Hawkins
jumped offsides on the field goal block in the 4th.
I feel bad for Snyder. It looks like he's going to put with a sad team all year
in hopes that they will learn something for next year. I can't believe we've
fallen so far in 3 years. Pruett was a genius for retiring and keeping his
winning percentage.
