Opinion: November 6, 2004 - Ugh! Can we leave Josh Davis and Ian O'Connor home

week when we go to Bowling Green? They were Akron's two best players last
night. I have
never seen two players that have such ability have such a mental breakdown in
one game.
Davis will probably not get drafted near as high as he would have after that
performance
in front of NFL scouts. There is no excuse for missing 3 field goals, but
dropping the
punt snap was the clincher. We now have to finish out another mediocre season
with no
MAC Championship and no bowl game. Can't help recruiting unless you are a
wideout or a
kicker - should be easy to make the team. Thanks to Jeremy for this opinion.
