AROUND C-USA...
CHARLOTTE (5-4, 0-0 C-USA)
Charlotte suffered an 84-67 setback to South Carolina on Sunday. The loss ends
the 49ers' 20-game win streak at home, which had been the fifth-longest in the
nation. Charlotte had five players reach double figures in scoring, led by
SAKELLIE DANIELS' 17 points. Before Sunday, the last time the 49ers had four
players score in double figures was against Louisville last season. The other
four players in double figures - PEACHES HARRIS, LESLIE COOK, MONICA LEAGUE and
PAM BROWN - all scored 10 points. Charlotte has a break from games for exams and
returns to action on Sunday, when the Niners host UNC Wilmington.

CINCINNATI (6-2, 0-0 C-USA)

raised her career free throw percentage to .881 (31-of-32), marking the third
best in NCAA history and second in Division I all-time. The Bearcats held their
sixth-straight opponent to 60 points or less and have allowed 30 points in just
two of the last 12 halves of play. UC faces its first ranked opponent of the
season when the Bearcats host No. 15 UC Santa Barbara on Tuesday.

DE PAUL (8-0, 0-0 C-USA)
With wins over Illinois-Chicago, 106-60, and Southern Illinois, 102-57 last
weekend, DePaul is now only one win away from tying the best start in DePaul
history. (In 1995-96, the Demons opened with a 9-0 record). The eight-game
winning streak is also the longest since a nine-game winning streak from Feb. 4
to March 2, 1996. Against Southern Illinois, JENNI DANT scored 23 points on
7-of-10 shooting from the field and a 9-of-10 mark from the free throw line.
With the nine free shots, she moved into eighth place on DePaul's all-time free

face UC Riverside on Friday and UNLV on Sunday.

SOUTHERN MISS (7-0, 0-0 C-USA)

far this season. She is expected to miss only four games and is projected to
return to the lineup at the end of the month. This weekend, the Frogs will
remain on the road to face Florida State at the Pepperdine Holiday in Malibu,
Calif. TCU will then return home to take on Lamar on Dec. 29. The Frogs have
