Re: [heartlandhockey_alumni] 2008 Camp...
Steve,
This is a completely self contained camp with Dorm type rooms with bunk
beds, dinning room, gym, Ice Rink with dressing rooms, etc. Pretty much
anything
hockey wise you will need. They have ability to sharpen skates if needed
during camp. Great experience.
I am attaching my checklist (hope it comes through but if not send me an
e-mail at
_Rolhock@..._ (mailto:
Rolhock@...) with Heartland in subject
line and I will send it direct to you) some stuff on the list is just
reminder for me but mostly tells what I have found to be needed. They provide
the
room and bed, you provide sheets (sleeping bag if you prefer), pillow case,
towles and your personal stuff (shaving, toothbrush, etc). Weather can be
anywhere from hot to cold...usually nice though and I usually take shirts and
t-shirts with one or two pairs of long pants and warmer shirt just in case.
See you there...I will be the old guy (usually oldest or close to it at 61
now but 62 when camp takes place)

Hey,
I'm new this year and wondering what to expect? Where do we stay?
What kind of bedding should I bring? What things should I bring
besides the obvious (hockey equipment, and some street clothes)?
