Hi,

First I would like to thank all the old and new members of the
Heartland Hockey alumni group. I have some big shoes to fill to do
as good of job as Dave did. This is the first tome I have tried this
so I am on a learning curve. I set the group up as is to keep spam
out. It is to bad it has to be done this way, but it is the times we
live in. I will try to approve posts and new members within one day.

The first group was also very fun. It was very hot the first two
days but the ice was hard and fast. I played about four hours a
day. It was a lot of ice, but it was very fun. I met a lot of new
faces this year. Both groups I felt were good to work with. Everone
tried very hard at the drills and I saw a lot of shots. The last
game I think I let in thirty shots but I did stop Steve three times
in a row. That was a real rush for me.

I would like to thank Steve, Sandy and the rest of the staff. The
big thank you is for the campers themselves. Without all the
encourgement I got and support it would not have been as much fun.

One more thing. The web site was not posted at camp for the first
group. If anyone knows of anyone in the first group that may like to
join, please let them know. If you would like, send me the E-mail
and I will send a invite.

I see some phots have been posted. Feel free to post anything in
somewhat good taste.
