OK, here's the deal: I intend to ski somewhere tomorrow and would enjoy
some companionship, but at this point it's not totally clear what this
storm is going to do by tomorrow morning. It could be that the best skiing
will still be north a bit (I know the Berkshires have good snow right now
and don't even need any more) or maybe we can get to ski more locally like
Huntington or White Memorial. I'm proposing meeting for breakfast at 8:00
AM at the Blue Colony Diner at Exit 10 off I-84 in Newtown and deciding
where to go. If we get so little snow that everybody can get there by that
time, then we'll probably have to go north and we will have met early
enough to do it. If, on the other hand, we have so much local snow that
nobody can dig out in time to meet that early, then we have plenty of time
to regroup and meet somewhere to ski locally. I'll try to send out an
update tomorrow morning, or you can call me at home. If we ski in the
Berkshires I'd like to go the Hickory Hill in Worthington, MA ... it's one
of the best spots around still close enough to be considered a day trip by
most XCers.
