These conditions are what the owner, Steve, dreams for. One year when the snow was super I said to Steve, isn't this great! His response was that in good snow years people won't drive hours to pay to ski at Prospect when they can ski out their back door. His best years are when Prospect is the only game in town (or the whole of the Northeast).
So there is a ski center that prays for a bad snow winter!
