Backcountry skied in the Charles Aiken Wilderness adjacent to Prospect
Mountain on Sunday. There were 6 superb inches of virgin powder snow on a
base of maybe 30". Took my skis off to put on some glide wax and sunk in to
my upper thighs. There should be skiing up there till April. It was worth
the 2+ hrs drive.
