I definitely agree!! I skied for about 5 hours at Prospect on Saturday,
both classic and skating, and the conditions were quite good for
both. They have a solid base and the new snow covered not only the ski
trail but also all the trees, making it very enjoyable to just pause now
and then to enjoy the scenery. Actually I paused quite a bit more often
than "now and then" --- it doesn't seem to matter what you do during the
year to prepare for the ski season because there are some muscles that just
don't get used for anything else except skiing in the woods on real snow.
Year after year Prospect truly has the most reliable snow of any place
close enough to us to be considered a day trip, so if you've never skied
there by all means give it a try. And thanks for the company Teresa.
