I was wondering if anyone saw the Dual point Distributor for a 140
Cu. motor on ebay?
Here's the link if interested

or
Item # 2416371809

does the 140 Cu. distributor also fit the 122 Cu. Cosworths Vega's?
Thanks

Here is the latest info on the Vega get together that will be going
one during the Super Chevy Show at Norwalk Raceway Park on July 24-
27. If enough vega's are in attendance they will be judging them
individually, as opposed to open class, and maybe even by years if we
have enough support. This is an awesome 3 day event that includes
carshows, Drag racing, and swap meet.
To show is $40 if you pre-register until July 11th, after that the
price is $45 at the gate. That is for car and driver for the whole
event. Anybody coming with the driver will need a $30 crew pass for
the event. Spectator passes depend on what days a person will be
there. A Fri, Sat, Sun pass for all three days is $35, Friday only
is $7, Sat. or Sun. only is $20, and a two day ticket for Sat. AND
Sun. is $30. All of this information and more is available on the
website at www.superchevyshow.com

Vega Car show, Swap Meet and Races scheduled. Many clubs and
organizations have talked about or attempted to get Vega enthusiasts
together without any luck. Well now it is going to happen. Through
discussions with many others in the Vega community I have decided
that instead of having a get-together of only Vegas it would be best
to start out during a larger show until attendance builds up enough
to host our own event. During July 24th –27th 2003, Norwalk Raceway
Park (Located in North Central Ohio) is hosting its annual Super
Chevy Show. I have personally attended this awesome event and it is
well worth your time to attend. An auto parts swap meet, car show,
and races are continually going on throughout the weekend. I will
get back to you on a later date with prices and maybe a more detailed
time schedule. Please email me at kbb@... with comments,
questions, or suggestions. I hope to hear from many of my fellow
Vega enthusiasts. See you in July
Kevin Black

I am currently in contact with both organizations and I will be
giving more information out as I receive it. Again please email me
or post what you think.

From what I remember, Holley powervalves should be only 2 inches
below what you idle at. This would put you at 125 or so. Also
sounds like you need more fuel with larger jets. I do remember I
could not get a powervalve low enough for a 327 with a roller cam in
it. I had an 850 CFM double pumper. Everyone said it was too much
for the 327. I blocked off the powervalve and jetted the secondaries
8 numbers richer to make up for it. 78's in front and 88´s in back.
Mileage was terrible, but I wasn't after mileage. Ran mid 12's in a
73 Camaro.

I am looking for the AC hoses on a 74 vega that run from the
compressor to the front cooloer and to the condenser. I have checked
my local Napa and Autozone stores with no luck. If anyone has any
tips or know of any hoses laying around please let me know.
Thanks, Kevin

When the car is at idle the fuel ratio gauge shows me that it is Ok
but when I put the car on heavy load or a cruicing speed like 55 or

My husband and I are moving out of state and are
looking to sell a 1980 Camaro with positraction rearend.
The body is solid and we are including many parts
such as deck lid, hood, extra window glass, doors, and
many interior parts. The brake line is all stainless
steel, has new calipers and most of the undercarriage
has been replaced if not all. (I am not sure of how
much but you can discuss it with my hubby) It has a
small block engine. The interior is excellent. We were
asking $4,500 dollars but will sacrifice for $3,500. He
was setting the car up to race at Thompson Drag
Raceway but since we are moving, we need to sell. If
anyone is interested please contact us! Photos can be
sent via email if interested.
