I'll echo that! A great evening out for all ages - I think all 40 or
so that attended will agree..

Seven teams took part in the Xmas it's a Knockout, won by 'Team
Dreadnought' - Mark King, Lynn Taylor, Steve Smith and Liam
Shoesmith. Games included throwing foam javelins into buckets,
dribbling a duck with a hockey stick round a slalom course of cones,
four legged race etc..

We still have a couple of awards to dish out, including the Andrew
Curnow Memorial Award, so I shall keep their identities quiet, but
awards handed out on the night were:
Best Junior Female: Millie Holman
Best Junior Male: Adam James
Best Newcomer Female: Sam Peek
Best Newcomer Male: Derek Holman
Contribution to Coaching: Mark King
Ripple Roller: Chris Greenwood
Secret Shooter: Doug Sims

Also along the evening was a surprise Birthday cake for Anne Pascoe,
which added to the ocassion.

So thank you to everyone who attended and made the evening worthwhile
& fun, and also to Ruth, Anne & Paul for arranging it all, and Chris
& Miriam for arranging the raffle, which had some great prizes..

I have a load of photo's but unfortunately my lens appeared to be
covered in dust. I'll get the better ones put on the website but if
anyone has any others we'd be grateful...
