Hi Guys,

Just a reminder about our Xmas 'do' for 2008, taking place at Carleen
Village Hall this Saturday (24th Jan) at 6pm.

The evening will consist of a few 'it's a knockout' style (fun!!)
games, followed by some food, followed by the handing out of the
usual annual awards, and a raffle, which I understand has some really
good prizes....

Everyone is welcome, friends and families, as the 'it's a knockout'
will require teams of 4.

We have ordered some cocktail pasties, and there will be tea, coffee
&
squash available, but we would ask everyone to bring a plate of food
to
make up an ad hoc buffet - If you require anything stronger to drink
then bring what you like...! Unfortunately because of the pasties and
the cost of the hall there will be a small charge of £2 per person.

Awards to be handed out this year will be the Best Junior (male &
female), Best Newcomers (Male & Female), and the Andrew Curnow
Memorial
Award, won last year by Callum Wheeler for his outstanding
progress.
There may also be some surprise and comical awards...

There may be some limited floorspace available at a nearby location
should people wish not to drive home!! (Contact either Anne or myself
privately).

This night is a change from our usual Xmas do and I would urge as
many
as possible to attend (with families & friends!) to help make the
evening as successful as possible.
