Re: From the HBL: Young St. Update ~ enough rope   Message List

Linda~

It is obvious to me, and to all those who were in attendance yesterday, that the Young St. Coalition is not a strong nor organized group ~ rather it is a handful of businessmen, somewhat ignorant, who are profit motivated, fixed upon bottom-line strategy, and who bow before the "automobile altar" ~ their ringleader, Francis Kanehiro, is a practiced Yoga-man who has trained his body dilligently enough so that now he is able to stick his head up his arse!...

I am convinced that if we remain standing in Truth and Integrity, resourcing and distributing "accurate" information, speak only when we have something to say, keep riding our bikes, do the good work, and give them enough rope, "they will surely hang themselves"...

Can anyone enlighten me as to what exactly the Young
St. coalition has against the bike lane??? I was
unable to determine their main problem with it
yesterday.
