Matt,
Is this a serious article? Or are you just playing-around?
Maybe I wasn't clear, but I'm looking for serious articles to post on the blog, but I'm not looking to piss people off, especially not HBL and I don't think that the HBL supporters in Critical Mass or the Yahoo group would take the blog seriously if I posted something like this.
What is your grudge with HBL anyway? The name "F.U. HBL" looks like "Fuck you, Hawaii Bicycling League" unless you read the title, but still...I've got to wonder how serious you are or is this just some way to find-out if I'll post anything and everything sent to me.
If you want to post a criticism of HBL on the blog, you're welcome. But, to encourage people to hang-out on the upcoming Century Ride and try for the food served at the rest stops ("provided by others") while ignoring the rules set-out by HBL for
the ride they organized, is asking a bit much.
Yeah, the fees being charged by HBL this year are the highest I've seen. But still, its a big money-maker for the League and the League has accomplished a lot more than any other group in Hawaii in what they have done for cyclists. Critical Mass can't even have their monthly rides with more than five people showing-up, if anyone even bothers to show-up in the first place.
So, let me know if you're really serious about this one or if its just a joke.
