Aaron:
Thank you for offering to help find my stolen bicycle. Below is some
information.
The bicycle was a 52 cm (20.5") light green Bianchi Volpe. You can
find a picture of the 2006 model at:
http://www.bianchiusa.com/06_volpe.html
Mine was a 2005 model, but very similar, except in a few ways:
The picture appears to be a 55 cm frame. Mine had pedals changed to MKS
Touring pedals with toe clips, seatpost changed to a rigid seatpost,
saddle changed to a Cinelli/Unicanitor saddle, and tires changed to
Panaracer Club road tires. Also, the handlebar stem was remounted to
incline downward rather than upward. The handlebar has red lights at the
ends instead of handlebar plugs.
When stolen, the bicycle had a rear rack, large front and small rear
fenders. It had a pair of black and yellow saddle bags.
I do not remember the City & County bicycle registration #. The
registration sticker is on the down tube, near a Harbor Square parking
sticker with the faded #321. The frame # is H5J06736.
If you see it, you can call #911 and report it to the police. The
police report # is 06-296914. It was stolen from near the Merchant St.
entrance of Murphy's Bar & Grill on the night of 25 July (Tue.).
