Welcome to the Hash Publishers Group, the e-mail discussion list of the Hash House Harriers Publishers Association (HPA). This list is open to HPA members and supporters.

The HPA is a voluntary group of webmasters, print editors, and individual hashers who share and publish information for the Hash House Harrier community. Our members publish on the global, regional, national, and local level.

One of the HPA's earliest members was Tim "Magic" Hughes, late publisher of Harrier International and the World Hash Handbook and Directory. For years, Magic was the man who kept the hash informed. HPA members carry on his work, gathering, sharing, and publishing the information hashers need.

The purpose of this list is to provide HPA members a forum for exchanging messages about getting, sharing, and publishing hash information. Topics for discussion include, but are not limited to, hash event and contact information, effective ways of getting the word out to the hashing community, ways of cooperating to produce national, regional, and international directories and calendars, outstanding examples of hash web sites and print publications, tips on print and internet publishing, and related topics. This is a place to share and learn from one another.Warning: this is a moderated list, and off-topic messages will be folded, spindled, and mutilated.
