Hello newbies here
Hope im welcome here.
my nickname is pete a former national player of the Philippines
Im intending to research on a form of paddle called
" sandpaper bat " and " plain woodbat "- we call this
local name : LIHA
Because this country has refined this type of skillplay and been
continuously playing this type of play for at least 50 years or
so
And I think not many outside people knows this. Because it been
kept in nooks and cranny of metro manila and province. Not really
shown too much to the public.
Wonder how many existing players out of the country understand all
of this. ?
----
Just like what you guys are doing. Im going back to the good
old "frank Sinatra song"
Many older folks cant catch up with "modern play philosophy " 'and
seems like table tennis in general is going some other direction and
seems to depends more and more rather on equipment.

anyway, for example,is their any oprganised "sandpaper groups "in
other parts of the world besides the harbat groups?
if not , then golly !!!! due to its secrecy , my haunches is : we
might be the last remaining group of living "dinosaurs" in the
world !!! ahahahahah
Best,
Mr. cua
