Hi Eric, there's a list of approved rubbers for hardbat just like
there is a list of approved rubbers for sponge play. Without
oversight people would be using very unpleasant, chemically treated
thermonuclear spin devices masquerading as rubbers. As far as the
Double Happiness wood blade is concerned it is legal so long as it is
all wood and has no carbon, or kevlar, or other non wood material.
If you are looking for some traditional hardbat professional
equipment then check out my website. I hand-make pen hold blades that
are specially made for hardbat and far superior to others mass-
produced commercially.

use that right now. but i looked on the rules for classiacal
hard bat this rubber is not on the list. ????????/////// also i
bought it in two different colors no knowing that the rules say
it has to the same color. i also use a pin holder blade
double happiness which is not on the the list either. why is the
rules so strict if if fall into a all wood blade, and the rubber
does not have rubber sponge under it.. i come back to the
hard bat to work on my form and play in a tournment or to.
