A reminder that RITC-563 is to be phased out February 2007, which means
that as of now it is illegal in hardbat events. (Friendship Dr. Evil
has effectively taken its place as a legal Chinese-made hard rubber).

The hardbat committee has been asked to review 802-1 (this is the
rubber that replaced 802 when the ITTF dropped its approval). Zeropong
believes 802-1 to be less spinny than the old 802. I'll get in touch
with Mike and see how he wants to proceed.
