My classes start at 5 pm and run to around 6:15
I divided the class between footwork conditioning drills, technique
drills, sparring, and conditioning. Terrence and Adam sparred many
rounds. I also had them do some directed sparring where defensive
skills were strengthened.
Terrence sparred non-stop for several rounds with fighters taking
turns at each bell and no breaks for him. We also drilled basic catch
and return jabs and crosses.
Lots of sparring interspersed with bag and technique drills.
Technical Boxing and Assaut Savate.
Technical Boxing for 45 years and up; one minute rounds.
Boxing and Savate with loosening up, jumping rope, medicine ball, 8
count pushups, roadwork on treadmill, drills and ringwork, sparring,
finishing up with abs.
I'm happy to say that we had great exhibition matches on Sunday.
All the fighters did very well and I believe we informed the public of
some of the finer aspects of boxing. I also had a chance to tell them
of what we do in the classes and how we train, a mission statement so
to speak. They seemed very appreciative. Once again, good job guys, I
was very proud.
Rob taught the class tonight. We drilled a tough class of circuit
training. He's always finding new ways of punishing us. It was really
grueling. For me, it was a much needed break from the classes and was
something completely different for most of the students in the class.
I'm sure I'll be feeling it tomorrow.
LOL. I'm SORRY, GUYS! They asked me if we could do a boxing exhibition
on Sunday during the Club 2000 Christmas Party and I said I couldn't
but you should ask Fred I. Daniel said he was going to ask you. But I
guess he didn't. I will remind him that it would have been a good idea
to ask you before announcing it.
What communications!! Sounds like the gov't.

no one asked or talked to me about an exhibition.
I have no problem running one but i don't even know the date or time.
I don't have anything to do with it. They asked me but I'm not
available that day. I would guess they asked Fred I. to provide some
exhibitions for the club Christmas party. You should talk to him. I'm
sure he would love to put you in an exhibition. We have to remember
to bill this for what it is, as a club Christmas party and as an
exhibition only.

I was leaving the gym this morning and I noticed a sign about the Club
Christmas party on Sunday the 18th and it said there was going to be a
boxing exhibition. I didn't know if you knew about this or not
because you hadn't said anything, or if you did I might have just
missed it or something. If there is going to be one I'm definately
interesting in participating, I'll do more than one if need be.
Terrance
I won't be able to make the scheduled Saturday morning class due to
sickness. It's settled in my lungs and I'm hacking up enough phlegm to
make a Mucinex commercial. I've e-mailed Donnie's parents and Brent
down in Westminster. I hope that Terrence reads this and Adam, too, if
possible. I'll call the Club 2000 later. Sorry guys.
