Tonight we started with 2 mile run and conditioning stations, 1 round
each station. The stations were: weighted punches (high, straight, and
low, 20 each and repeat), medicine ball throw straight, medicine ball
throw high, medicine ball push-ups and crunches, and weighted punches (
uppercuts and hooks). Joe and Dan sparred Adam getting him ready for
his fight. For the techniqual part of class we focused on boxing with
our weight on our back foot. We use to focus on this style a lot but
have gotten away from it as of late, so we brought it back and
introduced it to some of the newer boxers who never worked with it. We
finished up with endurance on the bags and abwork.
