Class started with warm up and 2 mile run. Next we did conditioning
stations, 4 in all: in the ring sliding medicine ball throw with push-
ups, dips and push-ups, medicine ball chest pass and over-the-head
throw, and partner ab-work. We had a couple new students and it is
always good to get back to the basics, we did partner handpad drills:
catch and return jab, perry the cross and return, ducking the lead hook
and counter, and upper cut defense with counter. Rob, and Jimmy work
with Josue doing some sparring and giving him some different looks in
the ring. We then moved on to heavy bag work cycling through single
punches up to combinations, and finishing with endurance punchouts.
Jimmy, Jared, and Rob did some round robbin kickbox sparring. Class
ended with 800 reps of ab-work.
