You need a 90-degree pump head or adapter (often referred to as a "crack pipe.") I've seen them attached directly to the hose on a pump or used as an adapter....
I agree, I have this adapter on a Campbell Hausfeld "portable" pump. It'll easily blow to 140. The only problem is the rubber fitting in the adapter gets worn....
