Hello Handcyclists,

It is with great sadness that I must report Warren Strickland passed away this
morning.

As you all know, Warren was a good friend and one of the most popular
handcyclists around.

We will keep you informed about funeral arrangements, etc. as information
becomes available.

Please see the email excerpt below from Warren's Aunt Teri, who has been our
liaison and a very positive influence throughout this entire process.

Please keep Warren's family in your thoughts and prayers through this difficult
time.

Warren Allen passed away this morning, Friday, February 23, 2007. His brother
Chad called me. His mom, dad and brother were with him. Arrangements are being
made at this time.

I'm not sure what they will be but I think Riser Funeral Home of Columbia, LA is
handling the arrangements. I will know more later this afternoon. Feel free to
call me and I will check my email this afternoon.

We are going up there tomorrow.
