The BOD is looking at a proposal to break the United States into
USHF Regions. Each USHF Region will have a volunteer managing it. As
growth occurs, regions can breakdown into districts using zip code
maps, states, and other ways.

The main idea of the regions is to improve USHF support for new
membership and clubs. It is also a great way to get important
feedback that could affect fundraising, training clinics, special
handcycling events, rides, races, that sort of thing.

Handcycling growth is going to occur and with it more handcycling
events. To respond to the growth, our support needs to be organized
so an event being planned in Kansas can get help with building
awareness, a marketing campaign, and if we can, more riders
participating. The USAF Regions can provide this support BUT, only
with the help from other handcyclists.

I'll let you know when there is a decision on USHF Regions and if it
is practical to do right now.
