I recently completed the El Tour de Tucson 2005 as a member of The Leukemia &
Lymphoma Society's Team in Training. This was my first century event and
thoroughly enjoyed the race and the training. I was the first handcyclist
enrolled with their program and the coaches did not really know how to fit me
in. Trying to ride in a pace line with bicycles is very difficult if not
impossible. The coaches finally just let me go on the flats and downhills, then
the rest of the group would catch up on the uphills.
I adapted that method for the season and the race.
Any feedback on weather that was the best way to train?

Thank you,

Andrew Chang

Yours truly,
