Wichita Cyclefest

KECHI TIME TRIAL

Friday 6:00 PM, May 6, 2005 USCF Permit Pending*


I just spoke with the director of this event and he might be able to get a group
of us in the time trial. I"M SUPPOSED TO DETERMINE HOW MANY WOULD SHOW UP. I
will need to know pretty quick as the race is on May 6th. I realize the River
Run race is on the 7th but both races are short ones and this one might geet our
foot in the door with a USCFevent even if it only ends up an exibition the 1st
year..If it does not go this year we will try to organize it for next year and
maybe do all 3 race days. The race director is very faviorable but he is not
sure about USCF etc. Ian you have worked through this before, if you can give me
some advice it would be great.

cyclists here in Winfield Ks. I ride a handcycle and race in several events each
year. However there are not many events specificly for handcycles close. I plan
to attend the Colorado Rocky Mountain Omium which has catagories for able-bodied
and disabled(handcycle) divisions. I would like to discuss the possibilities of
a handcycle class in your event. I know 6 or 7 HC riders that would have
interest and others across the nation that might be interested in it. Please
