Re: [handcycling] Update on Rocky Mountain Omnium

Joel,
I did not see a pro category on the web site, will there be a
breakdown of the prize structure coming soon.

Thanks

EVENT WEBSITE: http://www.adaptiveadventures.org/rmo04/index.html
May 29-31, 2004
Evergreen and Golden Colorado
$7500 prize purse!
Citizens Class for the recreational rider
Three Awesome courses

Just wanted to keep everyone up on the event. We are excited to have
confirmations that all or most of the Payalympic handcycling team
will be attending the event to compete in the "Pro" class. Also,
Captain David Rozelle and PFC Philip Bauer, who both lost limbs last
year in Iraq, will also be attending. In fact, David is racing at the
event. These guys are psyched to come out and meet the gang! And, see
the upside of disability!

Another new part of the event is the addition of an Arts & Crafts
truck for disabled kids that's coming to the expo. We hope to have a
large group of aspiring handcycle racers and riders on hand to cheer
everyone on!

We expect a lot of local and even national coverage at the event.

Let's make this the biggest U.S. race in year's. Our goal is 40-50
riders!(currently we have over 20) All the big handcycle races should
not always be across the Pond.

TELL YOUR FRIENDS! COME OUT AND SUPPORT THE SPORT!
