Dear Handcyclist,
Don't forget about the Adaptive Adventures Rocky Mountain Omnium on
Memorial Day weekend, 5/29 - 31 in Golden, CO. This is the biggest
handcycle race in the 48 contiguous states and features a prize
purse of $7,500!!!
The event is 3-days of racing set against the glorious front range
of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. The event opens with a 10-mile
Time Trial on Saturday, 5/29, followed by a circuit race on Sunday,
and an exciting criterium through Old Town Golden on Memorial Day.
The Criterium doubles as the U.S. Handcycle Federation National
Criterium Championships.
There is something for everyone. The handcycle race is for beginners
in addition to "the big guns." There are categories for Open Women,
HC MEN B, HC MEN C, HC A MIXED, and a ***NEW*** CITIZEN'S CATEGORY.
The citizen's category is for beginners who want to get in to the
mix.
