Welcome Darren. I am pasting a message that went out a few days ago
from Geoff Hopkins from the PVA in case you were not on line then. They
are developing a list of races and other useful information. Also check
out the WSF handcycling page at
http://www.wheelchairsportsfederation.org/Handcycling.html. Hope that
helps.

Geoff's message:
Please check out the new message board for handcycling-
http://es4.pva.org/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=postlist&Board=7
You can cut and paste the URL above or just go to www.pva.org and go
the Sports and Recreation to find the "Message Board" tab on the right.
This is a developing message board so please continue to look back for
more information. Also, hopefully beginning tomorrow we will have PVA
Fitness pages up in the Sports and Recreation area which will include
info on handcycling, HC racing with photos and results as well as
off-road handcycling and other fitness endeavors. It's not only for
veterans.
Also, feel free to post whatever you would like regarding fitness
events.

Subject: [handcycling] Hi, I'm new
I just joined and just completed my first 5K Race. I'm a C5/6, 22 years
old from NJ, injured 4 and a half years ago. I was told I can find out
many tips and answers here.
I just bought an indoor trainer and want to train for a marathon. Is
there a place I could find out dates and locations of races open to
handcyclists? Thank you.
Darren
