I've been trying to do some Heart Rate Training (as
opposed to just basing it on times and distances) and
noticed that I have a hard time reaching the rates
that training systems made for AB's recommend. It
makes sense that using a smaller muscle system would
require a lower heart rate. My question is, is there
any type of percentage difference for designing a
heart rate training program for a paraplegic? Or am I
left to just guess and figure it out on my own? Anyone
in the group had much experience with heart rate
training?
