John,

A buddy of mine modified a bicycle "kid trailer" into a trailer for
handbike so he can haul his dog (yeah, we get alot of looks). He
fabricated the hitch assembly from off the shelf hardware and the
trailer itself is a flat platform with fabric walls. I guess you
could haul anything really.

And of course the added bonus is that none of the handcycles seems to

John, Depending on your brand of hand-bike: You may choose to use your wheelchair wheels with or without hand rims in conjunction with quick release axle...
