John,
Depending on your brand of hand-bike: You may choose
to use your wheelchair wheels with or without hand
rims in conjunction with quick release axle system on
your handbike axle. You have to carry an extra axle
to fit your wheelchair wheels to your hand-bike QR
axle.
Put your chair behind you and secure it with velcow
straps. I would suggest an ultra light narrow as
possible chair for your use. It is do-able, but this
project will cost you a bit of money, but it can be
done.
Weight is the big factor, the more weight you have on
your bike including yourself the more energy it will
take to propel down the road.
