> GVAA Soccer is planning an end of season field work day. The date will be
Saturday, Nov. 18, beginning at 9 AM. On that date we will be doing the
following:
> 1. Topsoil filling in of bare/rutted areas.
> 2. Aeration/over seeding of all fields.
> 3. Scraping/painting of goals.
> 4. Repair of benches broken or missing bottom stabilizing pieces.

> GVAA Soccer is requesting your help on this day. We need, and would be very
grateful to you for any help you are able to give us with this project. Many
pairs of hands will be needed in order to complete this important work of
maintaining our fields for our kids.

> GVAA Soccer will have the following materials and equipment available on the
field work day:
> • One load of screened topsoil with 2-3 machines to move it.
> • Grass seed.
> • One power grass seeder.
> • Two walk behind aerators and two drag-behind-tractor aerators.
> • Rustoleum goal paint.
> • Pressure treated wood for bench repair.
> • Coffee and refreshments.
>
> If possible, please consider bringing the following with you on Nov 18:
> • Metal rakes and shovels.
> • Grass seed spreader.
> • Scrapers (for scraping old paint from goals).
> • Paint brushes/plastic containers for paint.
> • Step ladder for reaching goal cross bar.
> • Tools for bench repair (hammers, saws, hardware).
