I just wanted to announce that Jonathan Bee will displaying his art for April's Artwalk in Easthampton on April 12 from 5pm to 8pm  at KW Home, 82 1/2 Cottage St.

 

His show highlights fiber art with a twist as the Garden of Eden is recreated out of fiber art such as quilting, knitting and crouching. Trees grow out of trunks and branches knit in purl and leaves of splendor out of vintage sari materials. use of quilting and knitting in nontraditional ways is exciting and refreshing, in a world full of computer generated art and communication. The forms in this show are organic and hearkens back to the true Americana.

 

We will be hosting a wine and cheese reception with the artist.
