When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.
That’s scary. But here’s what is even more scary.
When guns are outlawed, the people who have been
elected or appointed to positions in government
(already demonstrating at every turn that they don’t
think our laws apply to them) will think that it is OK
for them to have guns, which, if ordinary citizens
don’t have them, will further embolden the criminals
in government. (Disclaimer: I’d like to think that
the above does not, necessarily, apply to everyone in
government.)
