Been monitoring NRA radio at
http://www.nranews.com/nra.html and they've
mentioned the situation and released a statement.
In my view, they're acting too cautiosly (since technically the conservatives
watch), but only time will tell.
Interestingly, after listening for 10 minutes, I'm becoming more convinced that
the NRA has become (or been forced to become) a conservative
think-tank/stronhold that is no longer single issue (gun rights). (sigh) One
can easily see (hear) why pro-gun liberals/progressive would be so cautious
about joining them.
They're talking about 9-11, domestic and foreign policies, liberal this, liberal
that, big goverment this, ...JEEZ. And their street "polls", MAN, they look
(Real Video) so freaking lame and fabricated.
But I'm probably being unfair.
Give them a try one of these days:
http://www.nranews.com/nra.html
And judge for yourself.
I give them this, the way they cover the UN attempts at undermining civilian
firearm posession is pretty interesting and have made me worry about it for a
while.
Well, I really went off on a tangent didn't I.
Sorry.
