Does anyone know whether there are Zombies in
Michigan? No matter. I know they have black bears.
Don’t plan to hunt Zombies or black bears but we like
to do a lot of camping and since there isn’t as much
desert there as in Utah (where we can quite easily
avoid black bear habitat), I’m wondering whether any
of you Zombie hunters have experience with the Ruger
96/44M lever action rifle? Is it any less likely to
jam than other lever action rifles in .44 Magnum?
Also, does the 96/44M handle .44 Sepcial OK for
practice purposes? I’m more concerned about
reliability of the action than the limited (4 rounds)
capacity of the Ruger. I’m retired and can’t afford
centerfire ammo, but I can “borrow” some from my wife.
