Wow, over 750 of you arriving this week!

A few more updates:

1) Weather - The weather has been great, the past few
days, but chilly at night. You will want a jacket in
the evening.

2) The hotel in Yangshuo will provide breakfast to
hotel guests on Sunday morning. I still encourage
those not too hungover to walk up to West St. for a
backpacker cafe breakfast instead, but the choice is
yours.

3) Updated run schedule and timetable for the weekend
attached. Note that on Saturday, buses will be
numbered in order of departure time for the different
run site locations. Don't get on the wrong bus to the
wrong run site! Each bus will only be 70% full so
that there is ample room to bring your luggage with
you onto the bus. The buses will be locked during the
runs and you will have access to your luggage after
the run.

4) For the Sunday run, buses will be labeled according
to departure time from the run site and expected
arrival time at the airport. You and your bag may get
on any bus you choose, but be sensible about getting
on a bus that makes sense for your flight schedule.
If you are on a 10 PM flight, you don't need to take
the 1:30 PM bus to the airport and conversely, if you
are on a 5 PM flight, you don't want to get on the 5
PM departure bus. The bus ride should take less than
2 hours. The run finish location is a fantastic place
to hang out, eat, drink beer, swim, raft, etc. Enjoy
it.

5) perhaps a bit early to start thinking of China Nash
Hash 2007, but then again, maybe not. The Shanghai
and Shanghai Taiping Hashes have put forward an
excellent idea for Hangzhou in 2007. Other options
can also be voted on at the Sunday circle.

On on.

Dear all,

730 registered hashers and counting...

Attached is the latest registration list. This is
your last chance to correct any mistakes as we must go
to print on the hash booklet by 1st April. Similarly,
if any of your hashing friends still want to register,
they can do so, but they won't appear in the book if
they register after 1st April.

A few other administrative things:

1) So far we have the following volunteers for
entertainment:
Sanya & Haikou Hashes
Okinawa Hash
P.O.P. Hash
Shekou Hash (belly dancing both nights!)

It would be great if some more hashes would contact me
about providing a little entertainment. Email:
keith@...

2) Drinking contest
Looking to do male and female individual championships
as well as 5-team member boat race championships.
Please contact me if you at keith@....

3) The Circles
Would any hash GMs interested in helping out with any
of the circles (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) please
email me to let me know. (keith@...)

4) Name and address of our Guilin and Yangshuo Hotels
I will put these up on the website www.seyonasia.com
and email out the details around 3rd April. We have
had some minor trouble with outside travel agents
trying to steal our hotel bookings and then sell the
rooms back to us at a higher price. This is the
reason we have not been more public in our hotel
announcements.

5) Hash stash. Besides the usual t-shirt and booklet,
we think we've come up with a fairly unique souvenir
this year which you will get when you register in
Guilin. Hope you like it.

On on.

Hi all,

1) After infinite revisions, am finally able to attach
the official 2006 Guilin China Nash Hash logo. Please
feel free to use it for any t-shirts, etc. your hashes
may wish to make for the event.

2) You will notice the beer bottle in the logos is
Fosters. They have come in as the official beer
sponsor and will be providing Fosters and Shanghai
Beer throughout the event. Many thanks to them for
this.

3) I am looking for a volunteer to write a brief
history of the China Nash hash from the first China
Nash Hash to today. Can anyone willing to do this
please contact me.

4) We now have skits/entertainment from the
Sanya/Haikou Hash, the Bandung P.O.P. Hash, the
Okinawa Hash and the Shekou Hash. Would like to get
some more hashes involved so please talk to your
hashes and then contact me to reserve a spot on the
stage.

5) There are still lots of blank spaces where I need
more information on the registrants list attached.
Please contact me to amend or add any details at
keith@.... I particularly need to speak to
someone from the Butterworth and SG Ujung Hashes.

On on.

Greetings all. Just over 2 months to go to the big
Guilin China Nash Hash weekend. We have about 650
people signed up now and its looking like one helluva
a party!

A few things to note:

1) Attached please find the current registration list
in alphabetical order by hash chappter. I'm sure that
there are plenty of mistakes and missing data in it so
please email me back at keith@... if you see
anything that you know is wrong or missing.

2) We have exceeded the 250 person target for the
Saturday medium run hared by the China Hash so we are
going to close that run to further registration. New
registrants should choose one of the other runs.

3) We are looking for hashes to volunteer to put on
skits (songs, dances, jokes, theatre, anything for a
laugh) at both the Friday and Saturday night bashes.
Please contact me if you'd like to get in on the
program.

4) We also want to get as many GMs as possible
involved in the circles after each run. Please let me
know who the GMs are and if you are willing to get
involved in running the cirlces.

On on.

What an overwhelming last few days! A few updates:

1) Have had big sign ups from all over the world and
we are now at just about 400 hashers in total.

2) A big On On thanks to Uncle Looi of the Mother Hash
who has organized an exotic cast of hashers from as
far afield as Dhaka and Vientiane.

3) We are also seeing big participation from Bintulu
H3, Sandakan Happy H3, Bandar Maharani H3, P.J.
Hazzards, Butterworth H3, the Kaki Hash, Shanghai H3
and Hulu Langat H4.

4) Other groups that have indicated they will be
signing up shortly include Haikou H3, Sanya H3, Taipei
H3, Malacca Hazzards, Lombok H3, and West Timor H3.
In order to facilitate sign ups for everyone, we have
extended the early bird registration period to 15
January 2006.

Wishing all of you great runs and cold beer in the new
year.

Greetings all.

1) End of the year registrations are coming in droves.
To make sure that my paperwork is in order, please
make sure to email or fax me when you make a payment.
I have 2 Renminbi deposit transactions in December
with whom I have no names to match. If you think you
might be one of these people, please contact me ASAP.

2) Could someone from SG Ujung H3 of Malaysia contact
me (perhaps Khoh Tee Hua or Eddy Chew?). I have a
list of 9 registrants and a payment slip, but no
details about gender, shirt size, run length, hash
names, etc.

3) A big ON ON to recent sign ups from HHH Ipoh, Kaki
Hash, Royal Klang Club and Damansara HHH is
approaching 300 people already!

4) The medium run on Saturday remains the most popular
choice with the ball buster XLong run second. Almost
80 people have signed up for the Friday Guilin city
welcome run as well.

On on.

Dear fellow hashers,

Approaching the end of 2005 which means that the 5th
China Nash Hash is just around the corner.

A few updates and reminders:

1) A big ON ON welcome to groups from the Pj Animales
Hash, KLang HHHH, Bandung POP Hash and the Labi Boys
from Brunei who have registered recently.

2) So far the medium length China Hash run on Saturday
is most popular, but the ball buster X-Long Free China
Hash run is close behind. The Shanghai Hash short run
also has its supporters while the Beijing/Boxer Hash
long run is lagging a bit in the popularity contest.

3) We have almost finalized the logo for the Guilin
China Nash Hash 2006, but our committee has been
unable to reach final agreement on which picture is
raciest. A final decision is expected by year end.

4) Just a reminder that we have added online
registration and payment at an additional website,
www.seyonasia.com. The price goes up after the new
year, so best to sign up before then and save some
dosh.

On on to more great hashing in 2006.

Some updates:

1) Since many people have had trouble downloading
registration forms from the nash hash website, I have
also put them up on my company website,
www.seyonasia.com.

2) Through the company website I have also been able
to set up on line registration and credit card payment
for the nash hash. Hope that this makes things easier
for people.

3) A big welcome to the Bandung Hash and Kotakinabalu
Hash House Bunnies who have just signed up for the
party.

Keith from the Free China Hash here. Wanted to update
you on progress with planning next year's China Nash
Hash.

  1) Dates will be 21-21 April 2006 (unless you tell me
of some hugely conflicting events at that time.)

  2) Our plan is to offer:
  a) a Friday late afternoon welcome hash for RMB 50 on
21 April 2006. There will be a welcome bash (dinner)
for those doing the run as well as all participants in
Guilin that evening.
  b) 2-day deluxe hash package with hotels, bus
transport, 2 runs, 2 circles, 3 bashes (meals), and
souvenirs, or 2-day hash package without hotels, but
including the rest

  c) on Saturday, will offer choice of short (45 min),
medium (60 min.), long (90 min) or X-long (120 min)
for FRBs hash runs with individual circles. Each run
will be limited to 250 people based upon time of sign
up. All runs take place in Yangshuo County Guilin and
all will regroup for a huge bash (dinner) at a
nightmarket in Yangshuo Town.

  d) on Sunday late morning there will be a recovery
hash run with short (40 min) and long (65 min options)
in Yangshuo followed by a meal. We will also provide
transport back to the airport that afternoon for those
desiring it.

All runs will be live hared and follow marking
conventions of the Taipei Hash, China Hash, Free China
Hash, Boxer Hash and Taiping Hash. These conventions
chosen because they are very simple.

Expect to finalize pricing an begin sign ups around
15 July. Discounts for early bird sign ups with the
price increasing by year end.

We will be looking for hashes to volunteer to help
with running some of the circles and co-haring some of
the runs. Interested parties can email me at
keith@.... You can also reply to this
email.

To automatically get news updates on the event,
subscribe to
guilinnashhash2006-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. I'm the
only moderator of this group so there won't be a lot
of junk mail flying around.

  On on.
