Wow, over 750 of you arriving this week!
A few more updates:
1) Weather - The weather has been great, the past few
days, but chilly at night. You will want a jacket in
the evening.
2) The hotel in Yangshuo will provide breakfast to
hotel guests on Sunday morning. I still encourage
those not too hungover to walk up to West St. for a
backpacker cafe breakfast instead, but the choice is
yours.
3) Updated run schedule and timetable for the weekend
attached. Note that on Saturday, buses will be
numbered in order of departure time for the different
run site locations. Don't get on the wrong bus to the
wrong run site! Each bus will only be 70% full so
that there is ample room to bring your luggage with
you onto the bus. The buses will be locked during the
runs and you will have access to your luggage after
the run.
4) For the Sunday run, buses will be labeled according
to departure time from the run site and expected
arrival time at the airport. You and your bag may get
on any bus you choose, but be sensible about getting
on a bus that makes sense for your flight schedule.
If you are on a 10 PM flight, you don't need to take
the 1:30 PM bus to the airport and conversely, if you
are on a 5 PM flight, you don't want to get on the 5
PM departure bus. The bus ride should take less than
2 hours. The run finish location is a fantastic place
to hang out, eat, drink beer, swim, raft, etc. Enjoy
it.
5) perhaps a bit early to start thinking of China Nash
Hash 2007, but then again, maybe not. The Shanghai
and Shanghai Taiping Hashes have put forward an
excellent idea for Hangzhou in 2007. Other options
can also be voted on at the Sunday circle.
On on.
