I would like to get involved in tractor pulling, however I think I
am going to need a little help to get started. I have been
tinkering around with tractors for racing for about the last 5 years
and would like to get involved in something a little different. I
recently bought a pulling tractor that I would like to use. It is
Wheel Horse with a 14 Hp Kohler. It is curently running 26" tires
in the rear. I am not sure what, if any engine modifications have
been done. It has an open upright exhaust tube, looks like stock
ignition, safety kill switch in the rear, wheelie bars with pads,
gas pedal, and clutch safety switch. I know it has been used in 3
pulls before but I do not know what clubs this has been with. I was
not able to get a whole lot of information about the tractor. I
guess what I need help with is what would be a good class to start
out in, and what I need to change on my tractor to make it
compatative and legal. If anyone could point me in the right
direction I would greatly appreciate it. I live in Hartford WI, so
I think the closest clubs would be Rock County, or WGTP.
